If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Tantallon Castle

Tantallon Castle is a formidable stronghold that stands on a cliff overlooking the Firth of Forth. It was the seat of the Douglas Earls of Angus, one of the most powerful baronial families in Scotland.
Tantallon served as a fortification for more than three centuries and endured three major sieges.
Visitors can enjoy a fantastic view from the battlements, admire wild flowers in season and soak up the history of the last of the grand medieval castles. Refreshments are available in the visitor centre.
